The Wisconsin Nurses Association (WNA) has served as the voice for professional registered nurses in Wisconsin for over one hundred years. Together with our national partner, the American Nurses Association (ANA), we work to foster high standards of nursing; stimulate and promote professional development of nurses including the advancement our economic and general welfare; and, work for the improvement of health standards and the availability of health care services for all people.

WNA is a membership based professional organization that any RN in Wisconsin can join. The benefits of membership provides for personal advice related to professional nursing practice or employment, advancing, promoting and protecting professional nursing practice through political involvement, influence and grass-roots advocacy, discounts for professional certification, educational and informational conferences and publications.

WNA membership provides leadership opportunities for participation at the state level by serving on the Board of Directors, councils, committees and/or task forces. We welcome your membership, involvement and participation.

Wisconsin Nurses Association is nurses caring for nurses and nursing, by preserving, supporting and advancing the profession of nursing.

WNA Purpose
