We're excited to invite our membership to join us IN-PERSON for WNA's 2024 Membership Assembly and Annual Meeting at the DoubleTree by Hilton - Madison East. If you are unable to attend for the entire day, we have arranged both in-person and VIRTUAL joining options for the afternoon Annual Meeting only.
Our day will have two parts:
Part I. In-person WNA Dialogue Forum
Addressing Wisconsin's Nursing Workforce Shortage
The purpose of the January 19, 2024 Dialogue Forum is to provide:
- an update on the activities, progress, and recommendations from the WNA Organizational Affiliates
- Followed by participants’ time for discussion and development of recommendations for WNA continued work
Part II. In-person and virtual WNA Annual Meeting
The purpose of the Annual Meeting is to provide the membership:
- Informational Reports by WNA leadership and Task Forces
- Opportunity to vote on action item (from morning Dialogue Forum)
- Results of the 2024 WNA elections
- Participation in the Nightingale Tribute to honor recently departed nurses (Learn more / submit a nurse's name)
Full Day - or Morning Dialogue Forum only - $50.00
Registration for this IN-PERSON meeting includes a light breakfast and lunch, even if you don't stay for the afternoon Annual Meeting. Continuing Education credit will be available for the Morning Dialogue Forum only.
Afternoon Annual Meeting only - FREE
Registration for the Annual Meeting only (whether choosing in-person or virtual option) will remain open until the meeting begins.
NOTE: Only WNA members will be able to register for the VIRTUAL attendance option for the Annual Meeting. Non-members may register for the in-person Annual Meeting, but will be seated at a spectator table and not allowed to vote.
You will indicate when registering whether you will attend in-person or remotely - lunch is NOT included with in-person registration for Annual Meeting only.

3.0 contact hours are available to those who actively participate in the entire in-person morning Dialogue Forum. CE Certificates will be distributed on-site and must be picked up before leaving the event.
No CE credit is available for attending the afternoon WNA Annual Meeting.
Wisconsin Nurses Association is approved with distinction as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by Montana Nurses Association, an accredited approver with distinction by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
DoubleTree by Hilton East Madison - A block of standard rooms are available for Thursday, January 18, 2024 at the rate of $90.00/night. You will be required to provide a credit card upon making the reservation, but you will not be charged until you check out.

WNA will hold a Nightingale Tribute at the Annual Meeting. If you know of a recently departed nurse, please consider adding them to our list to be honored. You do not need to be registered for or attend the Annual Meeting to submit a nurse's name.
