Unite faith community nurses to nurture the professional development and practice of faith community nursing within Wisconsin.
To communicate a caring presence locally, regionally, and statewide while preserving, supporting, and advancing the professional practice of faith community nursing.
WFCNC members are WNA members who are practicing faith community nurses or are interested in this specialty. WFCNC Friends are nurses or others interested in faith community nursing who are not WNA members. Friends are encouraged to interact with the WFCNC.
The format of the Wisconsin Faith Community Nurse Coalition monthly meetings (ZOOM calls) recently changed. We still meet via ZOOM (or phone) on the first Monday of the month, but we begin each meeting with a READI (“READI: Resources, Education, Assessment, Development and Issues”) presentation. This is a 15-20 minute presentation on a specific topic, followed by general updates and news related to FCN education and practice. At this time, CNE credit is not offered for presentations provided during the monthly meetings, but if there is interest, this can be explored.
