 The goal of this course is to prepare Faith Community Nurses to promote health as wholeness within their faith community through the practice of nursing, with a central focus on spiritual health and wellbeing. Experienced FCNs are welcome to attend as well as registered nurses who are new to this specialty nursing practice. 

The cost of registration includes course materials including the course textbook, “Foundations of Faith Community Nursing Curriculum: Participant Guide 2019 Revision” and the FCN Course retreat day on Saturday, May 15th. The revised online program will consist of reading, online assignments, and weekly phone meetings. 

The 2019 Westberg Institute’s Foundations of Faith Community Nursing curriculum* will be presented by members of the Wisconsin Faith Community Coalition, a Mutual Interest Group of the Wisconsin Nurses Association. Participants must participate in all scheduled calls and complete all assignments and program evaluations prior to the deadline to receive the Westberg Institute’s Certificate of Completion*, and 36.5 contact hours of Continuing Nursing Education credit** through the Wisconsin Nurses Association. Attendance at the retreat day is notmandatory to complete the course.
