CONFERENCE GOALS
- To enable registered nurses and other correctional personnel to better collaborate and utilize new knowledge and skills to improve the mental and physical health of inmates of adult and juvenile correction and detention facilities
- To optimize the safety, professional satisfaction, and personal resilience of all personnel delivering healthcare in a challenging environment.
TARGET AUDIENCE
- Registered nurses, physicians, counselors, social workers, administrators, and security personnel employed in correctional and detention facilities or health departments.
REGISTRATION FEES
Regular Registration - $160.00
Student (Full- Time) - $75.00
- Fee includes both Thursday evening and Friday conference days - there is no option to register for a single day.
- Fee includes dinner on Thursday evening; breakfast and lunch on Friday and a printed conference program.

COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS
Be advised that we will follow the CDC guidelines for the venue location regarding face masks and/or social distancing to prevent the spread of COVID-19 at the event. Registrants will be informed 1 week prior to conference of any such requirements. All attendees are encouraged to consider their own health risk when choosing to wear a mask or social distance at conference even if these are not required.

FRIDAY, MAY 6
7:30-8:00 am Registration, Breakfast Buffet, Exhibits
8:00 am-4:00 pm Conference presentations and Lunch served
8.0 contact hours of continuing education credit were available for the 2022 conference.
•• NCPD credit for nurses and other healthcare professionals
•• LESB recertification training credits for law enforcement, jail, and juvenile detention officers
•• NCCHP recertification CE hours for CCHPs
ONLINE CONFERENCE EVALUATION - Participants must have completed the evaluation for each session they attended by May 20, 2022 in order to generate a CE Certificate documenting contact hours earned. The option to have WNA re-open this evaluation for 6 months following the conferences has also expired.

Wisconsin Nurses Association is approved with distinction as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by Montana Nurses Association, an accredited approver with distinction by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
Handouts and resources received from presenters will be posted here about 1 week before the conference - a blue link will indicate that a handout is available. Participants may download/print handouts as desired – no hardcopies of these posted handouts will be available at the conference. We will continue to upload handouts as they are received...

NCCHC CCHP Exam Opportunity at Conference
The NCCHC CCHP certification exam will be offered prior to the start of conference at the Radisson Green Bay on Thursday, May 5, 2022 from 3:00-5:00pm (check in 2:45 - 3:00pm).
Please visit the NCCHC website for more information on deadlines and the application process.
Application deadline is 3/31/22 (but NCCHC says this may be flexible –contact them). Note the final registration deadline is 4/19/22, but there are steps to be completed prior to the deadline, so don’t delay!

A block of standard rooms are available for Thursday, May 5, 2022 at the rate of $90.00/night. You will be required to provide a credit card upon making the reservation, but you will not be charged until you check out. Be prepared to show necessary identification/documentation at check-in to receive the state room rate. If your reservation should be tax-exempt, proof of tax-exempt status must be presented at check in; otherwise, state and local taxes will be charged.
