Webinar Series – WI Human Trafficking Epidemic

Wisconsin is no exception to the widespread human trafficking epidemic occurring across the United States.  Nationally, reports indicate that 88% of survivors come in contact with a health care provider, including nurses, while they are being trafficked.  WNA's Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force is proud to offer this 5-part webinar series to increase nurse awareness about this epidemic through education, information, and identification of available resources.

REGISTRATION for the live webinars is FREE

  • You must register for each webinar separately (click on bars below) in order to receive the unique link to join that meeting on Zoom.
  • Registration will remain open until 6:00 pm on the date of the webinar - closes 1 hour before the meeting begins.
  • The Zoom meeting platform can accommodate up to 300 participants - be sure to join a bit before the start time as you will be unable to join once this limit is reached.
  • You will be invited on each registration form to share any questions that you have about the webinar's subject matter for consideration by the presenter(s).

CE CREDIT will be offered for each individual live webinar:

  • Participants must attend the entire webinar and complete the online  evaluation by the deadline (1 week after the webinar) to be awarded the contact hours.

Victims/survivors of Human Trafficking are in our care every day. Statistically, over 88% of survivors have come in contact with Emergency Rooms services and clinics without being properly assessed. Learn the signs and symptoms to look out for. We will discuss assessment tools and what questions to ask, and not to ask. We will also address safety and resources in your communities.

CE CREDIT - 1.25 contact hours will be available to participants who attend the entire webinar and complete the online evaluation by December 13, 2023.
