State of Wisconsin, Higher Educational Aids Board Nurse Educator Loan Forgiveness Program
The Wisconsin Nurse Educator Program is an initiative by the Administrators of Nursing Education in Wisconsin (ANEW) and the Wisconsin Nurses Association (WNA) to support the education of nurses in Wisconsin.
The state has approved funds to offset the expenses of nurses enrolled at least half-time in Wisconsin based programs PhD, DNP, or master’s Nurse Educator programs as well as post-doctoral fellowships.
Funds are also available to new faculty for tuition loan forgiveness.

Nurses Foundation of Wisconsin Announces Educational Scholarship Award Application
The NFW Board of Directors is pleased to announce the availability of educational scholarship awards for nurses interested in pursuing a BSN Completion Degree or Master’s Degree in Nursing not APRN. The scholarship amount of $5,000 is to be distributed among a group of 2 to 4 individuals.
2025 SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN!
The NFW Educational Scholarship & Grants Committee selected WNA members to receive $1,000 each to support their educational goals.

The Nurses Foundation of Wisconsin Board of Directors has designated $3000 available for Research or Quality Improvement Projects.

Mary Barker APRN Nursing Scholarship
This scholarship is for nurses currently enrolled in or about to begin graduate school in one of the four APRN practice roles: Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS), Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), or Nurse Practitioner (NP). Current APRNs pursuing an advanced degree are also welcome to apply. Up to four scholarships are awarded annually at a max of $2,000 each.
