Nurse self-care is vital. From an ANA report in 2016, which is still true today “Nurses give the best care to patients when they are operating at their own peak wellness.”
Self-care activities are actions that we can do in order to provide for our physical and mental well-being. Self-care is incredibly important for nurses. Self-care can lessen stress and assist a nurse’s ability to provide compassion and empathy.
