Show Your Support for APRNs at the Capitol This Wednesday

The Wisconsin Nurses Association is calling on our members and supporters to attend the upcoming Assembly Committee on Health, Aging and Long-Term Care public hearing on:

Wednesday, May 14, 2025
12:00 PM
417 North (GAR Hall), Wisconsin State Capitol

WNA will be there in strong support of Assembly Bill 257, which addresses the modernization of practice for Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) in Wisconsin.

We are asking you to attend and register in support of AB 257.
You do not need to testify – just being present and registering your support makes a powerful statement to legislators.

WNA testimony will be provided by Dr. Gina Bryan and Teri Vandenhouten, with Peter Welch and WNA staff available to answer questions. Representing the CNS community will be MaryAnn Moon and Jennifer Poppies.

If you plan to attend, please RSVP to Gina Dennik-Champion, WNA Executive Director, at:
Gina@WisconsinNurses.org   Subject line: “Count Me In for May 14!”

Your presence helps us advocate for safer, more accessible, and nurse-led care in Wisconsin.
