We're excited to invite our membership to join us IN-PERSON for WNA's 2023 Membership Assembly and Annual Meeting at the DoubleTree by Hilton - Madison East. If you are unable to attend for the entire day, we have arranged both in-person and VIRTUAL joining options for the afternoon Annual Meeting only.
PLEASE NOTE! The afternoon WNA Annual Meeting will begin at 12:00 pm - NOT 12:15 as originally noted.
Our day will have two parts:
Part I. In-person WNA Dialogue Forum 8:15 am – 11:15 pm
The topic of the forum is Supporting Diversity, Inclusion and Equity within the Nursing Profession. We are securing a keynote to provide a report of the National Commission to Address Racism in Nursing. We are also assembling a panel from nursing associations in Wisconsin representing diverse nursing populations to provide a response to the Commission recommendations, and suggestions they may have for WNA as we develop our action plan.

Part II. In-person and virtual WNA Annual Meeting 12:00 – 1:15 pm
The purpose of the Annual Meeting is to provide the membership:
- Informational Reports by WNA leadership and Task Forces
- Opportunity to vote on action item (from morning Dialogue Forum)
- Results of the 2022 WNA election
- Participation in the Nightingale Tribute to honor recently departed nurses (Learn more / submit a nurse's name)
Full Day - or Morning Dialogue Forum only - $45
Deadline to register - January 16 (registration closed for morning Dialogue Forum)
Registration for this in-person meeting includes a light breakfast and lunch, even if you don't stay for the afternoon Annual Meeting.
Afternoon Annual Meeting only - FREE
Registration for the Annual Meeting only (whether choosing in-person or virtual option) will remain open until the meeting begins.
NOTE: Only WNA members will be able to register for the VIRTUAL attendance option for the Annual Meeting. Non-members may register for the in-person Annual Meeting, but will be seated at a spectator table and not allowed to vote.
You will indicate when registering if you will attend in-person or remotely - lunch is NOT included with in-person registration for Annual Meeting only

COVID Precautions: WNA requires ALL in-person attendees to monitor their symptoms and be up to date on COVID-19 vaccination. If you are symptomatic (fever, shortness of breath, cough, muscle or body aches, vomiting or diarrhea, new loss of taste or smell) it is best that you stay home. Due to the on-going COVID-19 pandemic, we strongly recommend masks be worn when indoors at the conference, and if transmission levels are high in Dane County at the time of the conference, we may require them to be worn indoors for all attendees.

3.0 contact hours are available to those who participate in the entire in-person morning Dialogue Forum. No CE credit is available for attending the afternoon WNA Annual Meeting.

- Requirements for completion - participation in the entire morning Dialogue Forum. CE Certificates will be distributed on-site and must be picked up before leaving the event.
- Wisconsin Nurses Association is approved with distinction as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by Montana Nurses Association, an accredited approver with distinction by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
