Why a conference focusing on diabetes?
This is WNA's third annual Diabetes Care and Education Conference, designed by an interprofessional planning committee representing diabetes educators, nurses, advanced practice nurses, pharmacists, and dietitians. Our focus is on health equity of diabetes management of adults and pediatrics within healthcare systems and communities. Diabetes is a growing chronic condition, and all healthcare professionals can benefit from this educational opportunity.

In person is still the best way to find and share with others in the community. It is valuable to mingle with others.
I think this conference provides an excellent opportunity for making connections across multiple disciplines with others caring for persons with diabetes. I found the insights of pharmacy specialists at this years conference to be most valuable for me.
Really appreciated the pediatric content included. Love the ability to chat with presenters afterward.
Really liked the emphasis on mental health
There was a great variety of topics with expert presenters. I really liked that the conference is 1.5 days in length. I liked the time for poster presenters and vendors, too.
